FIPL is a workforce app for staff of Felicet Infra Private Limited and the organisations that use it ("your employer"). This policy explains what the app collects, why, who can see it, and how to have it deleted.
Accounts are created by your employer. You cannot sign up yourself, and the app is not intended for use by anyone who has not been given an account.

What we collect and why
| Data | Used for |
|---|---|
| Name, email, phone number, employee ID, department, role | Your account, signing in, and showing who did what |
| Precise location when you check in or out | Recording where attendance was marked, and checking it against your work site |
| Precise location in the background (field staff only, and only if you allow it) | Showing field staff on your employer's live map while clocked in, so work can go to whoever is nearest. See below. |
| Photos you take or choose | Task evidence, your profile picture, and documents your employer asks you to upload |
| Documents you upload (for example an ID or qualification) | Your employee record, visible only to you and authorised administrators |
| Attendance times, leave requests, tasks, daily updates | Running the work the app exists for |
| Chat messages | Delivering messages between you and colleagues |
| A device key and app status (last connection time, last error) | Delivering task alerts to your phone |
We do not collect contacts, call logs, SMS, browsing history, advertising identifiers or payment details. The app contains no advertising and no third-party analytics.
Background location
If your account is set up as field staff, the app asks whether it may read your location even when the app is closed or not in use. It asks on its own screen first, and only then shows Android's permission prompt. If you allow it, the app sends your approximate position about every five minutes. Our server stores a position only while you are clocked in, and discards it otherwise. You can turn this off at any time in your phone's settings (Settings → Apps → FIPL → Permissions → Location). Everything else in the app keeps working without it.
While task alerts are active, Android shows a small permanent notification ("FIPL task alerts active").
Who can see your data
- Your employer's authorised administrators and managers, according to the permissions your employer sets.
- Colleagues, for the things you share with them: chat messages, tasks assigned between you, and your name and photo.
- Our hosting providers, who store and process the data on our behalf and may not use it for anything else.
We do not sell your data or share it with advertisers or data brokers.
Security
All data travels over encrypted connections (HTTPS). Access is limited by role inside the app. Uploaded documents are served only to signed-in users allowed to see them.
How long we keep it
Data is kept while your account is active and your employer needs it for employment records. Background location points are deleted automatically 48 hours after they are recorded. When your employer closes your account, your data is deleted or anonymised unless the law requires it to be kept for longer, for example payroll and attendance records.
Deleting your data
To have your account and data deleted, email sales@felicet.com from the address on your account, with the subject "FIPL data deletion request", or ask your employer's administrator. We confirm the request and complete it within 30 days, apart from records we are legally required to keep, which we tell you about.
Your rights
Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you can ask to see, correct or erase your personal data, withdraw consent, and nominate someone to act for you. Contact us at the address above. If you are not satisfied with our answer, you may complain to the Data Protection Board of India.
Children
The app is for employees and is not directed at children under 18.
Changes
If this policy changes, we update the date at the top. Significant changes are also shown in the app.
